Jessica of the OneStory Songhai Team writes: “Recently Sara, Alyson and I found it necessary to leave our home in Mali and relocate to the capital. Although this move has caused a setback in crafting our stories, we are choosing to remain hopeful in this situation that we will be able to finish the Bible story-set for the Songhai people. Right now we are making contacts with Songhai people who live here in Bamako, as most people in the capital city are Bambara and not Songhai. So far we have been very successful in meeting Songhai people, and our story-crafter has agreed to make a trip or two to Bamako to finish recording the stories. Praise the Lord! Please pray that our work will not be slowed down too much as a result of our recent relocation, and ask that we will be able to make contacts with Songhai people who will be willing and eager to help us with our work.”
