"Water Stories"
These 22 biblical stories make a good companion to projects involving drilling water wells, installing irrigation systems, or purifying water for drinking and cooking. They could also be used with people who live in places where water is in short supply. While people are gathered watching a well being drilled or learning to purify their water, there is often opportunity to tell about people in the Bible who had interesting experiences at wells or other sources of water. This thematic connection helps introduce the stories into the conversation. Then the stories’ content further opens the way to talk about the Living Water and how to find it.
